“I mean, who would wanna work in America?” Better known as how the Democrats keep those voters.

  • My wife was offered food stamps in exchange for movie tickets from a neighbor who boasted about her husband being paid in cash, so that they could game the system. And let's just say the neighbor was well tanned...

  • everything intelligent about this has already been said above.... But why has NOONE talked about the fact that Welfare apparently pays for refrigerator magnets that you can glue to your shirt. :)

    • She states she used the system to get her college degree, then never used it again. But she IS writing about what she sees.

    • This is the video that will square away the issue about this young and, frankly, talented girl. She watched it happen as a child and wanted something better for herself. I knew I was right about her! I think she's really quite entertaining. I'm not big on rappin, yo! There, that's all I got, but I thought the way she enunciated several words gave her away as studied and intelligent.

The other clip from Fox News with the two dudes that did the other video seems to expose them as somewhat less well spoken and thought evoking, but they got to be interviewed in the studio on Fox, so is that cool? Probably not in some of their homies eyes.

  • This shit makes me want the government to end social welfare programs as they exist today. People need to take responsibility for their own lives and actions and stop expecting everything without working for it. Of course, the elderly and the truly disabled should be helped, but they constitute a very small number in the sea of those receiving free help from the government.

  • I think some of you are taking that video wrong, I think that women is as disgusted with it as we are, I saw the next video Sidekick linked to and I believe it's like a In Living Color skit showing how preposterous the whole idea of EBT is. Fk you olivia.

    • This girl has a few videos on u toob about this. I do not think she is trying to give instructions on how to work the system. Hell, they get those instructions from everywhere. She is actually exposing it in a way that might make some of the moochers see that taking advantage of the system will ultimately make the system go away. She's okay by me. Her explicit video 'Swipe Yo EBT' has probably ignited more fire in tha hood against her.

      • I agree that she is not intentionally giving advice. I"m not writing clearly today. The scary part is that I have come across a few other videos that show "real" ghetto queens dancing and singing to the original Swipe Yo EBT. They don't get that it is parody. That is what was rattling around in my head when I poorly expressed myself above.

        • I think she's targeting two groups. Those who are unaware of the abuse going on with welfare, who hopefully get enraged enough to work to change the system in ways that stop the misuse, and those welfare queens that firstly get pissed at her for exposing them, but hopefully see that the meal ticket won't last much longer if they keep up the abuse. Many people think the government just makes money! So they figure the government owes them since that is what they are taught. There is a spark of intelligence in some of the 'oppressed' though, and that needs to be exploited. This girl may just be firing the right kind of ammo over the bow to get some of that working. It cannot go on much longer. The country is going down the shitter for more reasons than can be counted.

She does point out that California is the best place for abusing the system. She might be indicating a problem being exacerbated by illegal immigration. There exists a rift between certain elements of welfare recipients. It extends along a racial bias that does not include the evil whities such as myself. I think she's doing the country a service and in such a way that she walks the line. Shrewd, in my opinion.

    • I am pretty certain that it is not an "In Living Color" video. You could not run it on over-the-air TV. She may be parodying the welfare culture but she also is providing a "how - to" for free stuff acquisition.

      • I didn't say that is was an In Living Color, just that it is like, similare. I think she's using her own unique way to expose it, I don't have a problem with it.

  • Holy sh1t. "You get the free day care. Then you have your friend as the day care person, and you split the money."

Where's Livvy when we need her, to explain to us how this is perfectly fine?

    • I predict Olivia will not approve at all

The differences lie in assessing the amount of abuse.. Most liberals underestimate, and most conservatives overestimates.

I happen to have the exact figures right here in my pocket..

      • The descriptors following the video state that this is satire. It is obviously soooo classy (barf). I want to know why using children in this production is not child abuse.

      • She smiles when saying 'This is where the taxpayer money goes.' Man, she's tattling! I got this feeling she's in school and probably as disaffected with libs as we are. She may well be Kalifornia's next real hope! She's hip to the take and completely pist about it. That's why she's showing everybody what's going on! Opinion, mine.

  • A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.

Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage.

    • That is why our founding fathers set us up as a republic, not a democracy. They understood the dangers of being a democracy and the Constitution was written to reflect that fact. Unfortunately, the electorate during the 1950's and 60's kept electing fools who managed to get laws passed to undermine the Constitution and turn our country into a democracy.

  • Exactly!!! This is the mind set all over the country. From the hills to the hood. Why work when we get it for free. Then they all run out and demand that those of us who are doing the work give them more.

If you don't won't to work, you don't won't to it. You get on the government tit and start popping out kids, your benifits don't increase one red cent.
