IHateTheMedia.com is now the largest site on the internet. The whole damn internet.

ihtm-worlds-largest-website

The latest numbers are out! And they show IHateTheMedia.com had 27,991,360,437,019 unique visitors in the month of June.

For those of you who aren’t as mathematically-inclined as we are, that’s just a hair short of 28 trillion, which means that every single man, woman and child in the world visited IHTM more 4,000 times last month. Several fetuses, aliens and time travelers also stopped by.

What’s that? Alexa says we’re only the 54,800th busiest site in the world? Well, maybe so, but Alexa determines those rankings with an old-fashioned, simplistic formula, while we calculated our position by using the same highly-complex algorithm the Obama administration uses to determine that it has now “saved or created” 3,000,000 jobs.

And based on those calculations, we’re number one! We’re number one! We’re number one!

Eat your heart out, Google. Eat your heart out, Yahoo. Eat your heart out, Drudge. Eat your heart out, IOwnTheWorld.com.

  • I think the new math is simply marvy! The varied results are most entertaining ever since I stopped using cheques.

  • Do what NASA/NOAA does--take my one visit today as a data point and extrapolate it over the course of a year into visits by all 6-billion people on Earth seeing as I'm a sample that represents all the rest of the world. Easy.

  • Public school math education, eh?
How would a guy go about getting one of those editorial assistants jobs?

  • Oh dear. I just used the new math to calculate my age, and I'm over 4 million years old :(.

  • Wow, I regularly link the most important site on the webbynets. I must be second most important!

  • This somehow seems to be a parallel to Base 13 in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy... which was a trilogy of 5 books.

    I approve!
