This bonehead's been all over the news here. I don't think he's going to be seeing daylight for a long time, providing he lives long in prison.
He was a golf "coach." It really pisses me off the way these creeps finagle themselves into position to get close to children. I'm old enough to see what their "hunting" has done to the world. When I was young and newly married I wasn't sure I liked kids - they seemed rather annoying to me. So I asked my wife to hold off on having a baby while I checked out whether I could stand the presence of children. I volunteered to coach fifth and sixth grade girls basketball at an elementary school. They were glad to have me, no questions asked, I was young and knew basketball and that was enough. I was the only adult with about 25 girls two days a week after school. Turned out I had a blast, loved the pandemonium, enjoyed the kids, and turned them into the best basketball players in the area. When I had daughters, same thing: when no other parent volunteered, I would and coached alone (even sports I didn't know). Much later in life, now with stepsons, I learned that coaches are not allowed to coach alone anymore - there must always be at least two parents with the kids, to stop the sexual predators who are hunting them. If only one coach shows up for practice, the practice must be cancelled unless a parent is willing to step in and "co-coach" for the day. This is what we've become, just to stop the creeps who are hunting our children.
