I was outside last night and whistled for my dog. My communist neighbor (the one that alway has commie signs in his yard and has 14 commie bumper stickers on his VW Beetle) yelled "raccissssstttt" at me. So I stopped whistling and yelled, "Here Peaches!" Neighbor yelled , "Raccisssttt." Peaches is a code word for black servants.
NOt really, but it wouldn't surprise me.
I had a black lab puppy once, he got away one day and I was walking through the neighborhood calling "Here Blackie".
In retrospect, I should have named him something else, considering where I lived at the time.
I named mine Pooter. Neighbors got a chuckle.

I don't recall ever being called a racist before 2008. I really honestly don't. After that I don't remember that term pointed at me nor had I heard it really so often as I have in the last couple of years. It is a very dangerous word! She writes that Obama actually did have a job for a little while representing 186 clients in a lawsuit he filed in 1995 against Citibank for mortgage discrimination. The beginnings of the end of our great country using that devastating weapon the "Racist Bomb". Only 19 of the 186 people he represented still have a decent credit rating, and still own their homes.
"Some of his clients are speaking out and their message: "there should be a regulation against giving loans to people who can’t afford them!" Obama pushed the Community Reinvestment Act, right along with Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Maxine Waters. Democrats forced banks to give mortgages to Blacks who had no credit rating, no down payment, sometimes no job. The Bush administration tried 17 times to force Democrats to moderate the risks of these through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac."

My point being the bandying of that foul term has bullied powerful people into submission and the abuse that ensued was enough to be instrumental in bringing one of the most powerful nations to its knees.

Many years ago, after a particularly hard financial time, I had to file for bankruptcy. 3 years later, when I was better off financially, I had a chance to buy a small starter home, but no bank would give me the mortgage because of the BK. I had to get my parents to cosign the loan! I had the money to pay the mortgage, I had the downpayment, I had a good job, but I had to have someone else to back me up, even though I was eligible for a mortgage through the VA!
I have to wonder if I would have had such a hard time getting a mortgage if I were an unemployed black man.

I couldn't agree more, Sidekick. Watching the clip I couldn't help but notice how Friedman and even Gregory wanted to change the subject when faced with the miltantly Pro-Life/Anti-Media Bias Gingrich. Friedman seemed ashamed to have to be defending even partial-birth abortion, his head going down and his voice trailing off.
What is disseminated about abortion, particularly late term abortion is murder in anyone's book, even their's. I mean the child at that point is viable outside the womb, so their reference to the baby as a [arasite doesn'y hold water at that point. But they don't want people to know that a 5th month abortion is a fully formed human being, with fingernails,and eye lashes, let alone major organs. It LOOKS like a baby. Not a blob of cells. They really don't want that to get out.
It's the language they use that is offensive. A woman who wants her child is carrying a baby. She doesn't attend a fetus shower. People don't ask her what sex her fetus is. Of course when a woman aborts the word "baby" is never ever used.

Like MY mix-breed family, they already know. All the lib info out there, they are all way too well informed, just ask them. Not that many years ago (20-30) I would tell of my grandfather, a democrat congressman from Colorado who was, in his off hours, a Grand Dragon, or something like that, in the KKK. Back then nobody could believe that that was in my lineage, as I was most definitely not a prejudiced person by any man's definition. Now I hide that story since the simply fact that I vote a conservative ticket makes me a racist. When I tell these well informed folks of the origins of the Klan they absolutely will not believe me then when I show them printed history as proof they leave the room angry and say I'm a liar. As we find out today, the democrats are espousing their 200 years of support of the civil rights of all Americans, while they take down any reference of Christianity at the convention and erect shrines to allahaha and islam. I've not always been a fan of Newt as a politician. But I'm always a fan of him leveling that intellect against the unsuspecting and the stupid. He has a way of sweeping through and laying to waste their hypocrisy that is nothing short of amazing.
As for Thomas L. Friedman . . . no wonder he's in love with the Chinese system. Forced abortions funded by citizen confiscated property and administered by a selection process that begins and ends in gender . . . the Chi Com war against women and life is this guys wet dream.

I actually voted for him in the Republican primary. I, now, realize that the media, politicians, and any other opposition would have torn him apart in a more personal way rather if the issues mattered anymore or not. I believe he would have made a great president. As always, we're playing the political game and nominating the one who's more likely to be able to defeat the opposition rather if we really like him or not. I'm going to maintain a positive outlook now; and hope Romney will surprise everyone and prove those of us who saw him as a flip-flopping moderate wrong. By the way, Paul Ryan was an awesome choice! :-D
Newt does wield his verbal hammer with the skill of a most experienced tradesman. When he gets a little heated, being on the receiving end of it must hurt. Of course, when you're a die hard liberal buffoon like friedman standing there repeating the same programmed response, with some smattering of um and bu-bu it there is no feeling it because he has no soul. Communists must all be exposed and the realities of communism need to be brought back into view. There are far too many people now who think its probably a fine system, as good as any democratic system available because the evils of it are no longer taught to our people. They're being misled to believe freedom and liberty exist in that realm somehow. Fools!

I for one would love to see it, and would love to see Newt do that a whole lot more, I love it when he takes their knees out from under them.
