I won't say I'm totally convinced yet, but John Roberts may be the shrewdest individual ever to swing a supreme vote, at least, that I've ever noticed.
If Roberts didn't mean to do it then an outside force got within him and did it. Again we will have to wait and see, but this looks good on the surface but it doesn't once you really sit down and think about it. Right now I am looking at five different videos of five different times when Obama said in essence no new taxes... It is clear. Romney just needs to play it right.
Again, Romney needs to what McCain was too effing dumb to do, get very nasty with Obama & the Dems. He really needs to be willing to use Obama's words against him, & call his lies out. Not just in ads, but face to face, on the stage. Back it up with audio/video evidence, straight away. Also, Romney needs to understand that the MSM is NOT his friend. He needs to treat them as Obama campaign representatives. He also needs to get THEEE right VP pick. He needs to be as perfect as his hair.

Either he is that, FormerlyDeanH, OR an argument can be made that he is merely a traitor to the oath he took as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. For me, I am no longer looking to the Supreme Court for enforcement of the US Constitution. As long as the 5 that voted to declare Obamacare Constitutional are on the bench - we have lost the 3rd tier of our government in this country. It is pathetic in my mind...totally pathetic.

The Supreme Court of the US does not "enforce" the US Constitution. It interprets the US Constitution. The Executive and the Legislative branch enforces it. We the People are to make sure the Executive and the Legislative branch don't go out of control and to make sure the SCOTUS does not legislate from the bench.
Now that is what it is supposed to be of course. We all know that it is not like that all the time. However, the court intrepreted this law and made it constitutional because it is a tax, it is up to Congress and the President to enforce it, but it is up to us the people to stop it if the people does not want it.
If the Supreme Court were to enforce the law, Holder would be in shackles right now. Even if the Supremes had correctly interpreted the law, who would have enforced it? The Attorney General?
If Romeny has the balls...he will just use Obama's words about "this is not a tax George"...in just about every campaign commercial.
I do think this will awaken the T.E.A Party again...which is a good thing.
Those commercials need to leave some room for "...the private sector is doing fine...". Of course, at the rate BO puts his foot in his mouth by November Romney will have to air six hour long infomercials to include only the top thousand or so.

We didnt go to sleep. We've been working at the local and state levels. You are correct though about waking people up. It will be the indifferent ones who will be awaken to what has happened to us all.
As for Romney, every time barry or his allies run an attack aid, he needs to parade out barry's sppech after the passing of the bill along with pelosi saying "we have to pass the bill so you can see what is in it". Then right under their words would be the writings of Chief Justice Roberts calling the "penalities" a tax.
