  • I tried to convince my wife not to buy an Ebolabamacare policy, but she did. Now, she just got her renewal info the other day.
    Her cost is going up 70% after subsidies, AND her deductible went from $6,500 to $11,500! What a deal!
    Now, she's trying to get a job that has benefits, because she can't afford the new premium.

    My second thought was Gruber's honest response would be along the lines of, "I rest my case".

    And way down the page...“They bounced out 28 Senators who voted for this law,”...

    Is that # right? Since they rammed this thing through, 28 of the people who voted for it have been unseated, retired (read: quit before losing) or just got thumped Tuesday? And LA. could make it 29 of the what, 53 votes that passed it?

    I'd call that, not a tsunami, you always have a warning for those, what's the term... following sea? A big-assed wave that sneaks up behind you when you're not looking.

• I liked this Gruber guy much better when he worked with Goober and Gomer in the Pyle's Mayberry garage.

• The guy is just being real! I would rather know what the people are saying than the BS. He is an asshole but at least he is being a truthful asshole.

• He must have a terrible inferiority complex, trying to convince himself that everybody is stupid, except him.
