  • Unable to hold a job, filed bankruptsy twice, has monies owing and now living with her "fiance" for 2 years, without working at all, since he supports her. MmmHmmm

• It doesn't matter. The wannabe Vladimir Lenins in the MSM will keep repeating the lie until it becomes accepted as truth, and probably already is.

• I'm a Cain fan also. I hope this harrasment bonfire goes out pretty quickly. The libs want Romney in there because they know he's a flip-flopping RINO and he will get beat. This is not the case with Cain. They deathly AFRAID of Cain. They know he will eat them alive and he won't back off either. If he gets that far, he's got my vote. I'm thinking he might pick Newt as VP but there's also been rumors of Demint so I really don't know. Newt has 'WORLD' experience and he would be invaluable in that area.

• I hope his new lawyer nails all their asses to the wall for every penny they've got and future earnings too.

• I am fairly confident at this point that there is little, if anything, behind these accusations. However, I do have to wonder about Mr Cain's crisis management skills. The first story was festering for what was it, 10 days, before it broke? And no prepared response? Mind you now, I've been on the Cain Train for a while now, and even have a Cain t-shirt if the wife hasn't lost it in the laundry room. But this does evoke last election's shtick about Who's answering the phone at 3 in the morning?. If it's Red Chinese troops wading ashore in Taiwan, you just may not have the time to assemble your team of experts -- which has been his stock response, but seems to have failed him here. Too, this is not something I am saying just anywhere; I consider IHTM "en famile" and confiding this as I would not in "mixed company."

  Anyway, I'm sticking with Cain for now, and hope he pulls through this OK, and starts showing up better as a competent fast-on-his-feet thinker. I haven't seen any of tonight's debate but wanted to observe that given a few other revelations the last few days, I'm starting to think more favorably of Newt.

• i could never run for public office. About 5 years before I got married, I was in a singles bar and asked a girl to dance. She told me to "Get lost" I sulked away, totally embarrassed and hid in the corner. Now 25 years later she would say I was, in fact, trying to get in her pants. She would be correct. I hate to dance, and getting into her pants was really was my objective. In fact they could probably come up with a lot of women that would swear to the same thing under the same circumstances.
