IOWA GOV. BRANSTAD TO ROVE: ‘STAY OUT.’ We’re beginning to wonder if Rove is on the DNC payroll. He obviously just doesn’t get Regan’s Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican. The Democrats sure got the message though. Short of being an ax murderer they will CYA a fellow Democrat’s butt.

  • When Rove shows up on my tv the channel gets switched, even to msnbc. Rather watch the idiots, than rove destroy another chance at winning the White House. If he's involved in 2016 it will be a dem lock, he is the most destructive force in any conservative theater.

  • Steer clear of any organizations accepting donations with Rove's face as the poster-boy. Dry him up like a snail covered in salt. :-)

  • It isn't just Carl Rove, it's all super pacs with the RNC and DNC included. People are so dumb that they give money to these organizations, who give the money to the candidate of their choice, which usually is not the best candidate. As much as I like Romney, he is a perfect example.

    When are the voter going to wake up and realize that they should be donating to the candidate instead of super pacs, the RNC or DNC? I have voted for, and given money to, the person I thought would do the best job over the years and not just because they had a D or R after their name.

    Donating money to huge political organizations is like tossing coins into a wishing well. It may give you a feel-good tingle but does nothing for you in the long run. Backing your candidate of choice is a much better way of spending your hard earned cash.

  • Rove is what is wrong with the GOP today. He was a Romney supporter from the beginning, when better candidates were being smeared.

      I suffer from that bacon addiction as well.

      And the smear job/media lynching they did on Herman Cain was reprehensible. While I have issues with some of his policies he would have made a far better President then Romney and he would have beaten Obama by margins wide enough that O Duce's 120 percent victories in key areas would not have mattered.

    • Better candidates did not bother to run, IMO because they could not get establishment support. Romney was the back room pick and the others who threw their hats in were window dressing.

      • Former Governor Gary Johnson is a good example. He scares the hell out of the Republicant establishment and for very good reasons. I do know he was the best governor New Mexico ever had and I think he would make a good President. He was not afraid of the Democrap establishment, which has controled both Houses in this state for over 80 years.

        He was the veto king while in office, even shutting down state government a couple of times until the fools got the message. As a result when he left office the economy was booming, we had money in the bank, the state had a AAA credit rating, New Mexico was the place to live. Then $Bill Retardson came along and screwed everything up.
