IRS faces class action lawsuit over theft of 60 million medical records

IRS faces class action lawsuit over theft of 60 million medical records. “…an unnamed HIPAA-covered entity in California is suing the IRS, alleging that some 60 million medical records from 10 million patients were stolen by 15 IRS agents. The personal health information seized on March 11, 2011, included psychological counseling, gynecological counseling, sexual/drug treatment and other medical treatment data.” Drunk on power – it’s like they can’t help themselves, isn’t it?

  • Now was this done by that mid-level hack in Cincinnati, or is this some other mid-level lone wolf geek we haven't heard about yet?

  • 60 Million records? WTF there is only 33 million people in Kalifornia including the illegal aliens.....

  • The more stories like this that come out the better I like it. We rational thinking Americans have known for years that our government has grown to an unmanagable size, resulting in even more intrusion into our private lives.

The incompetent boob currently in the White House will take a lot of heat, which does not bother me at all, but taxpaying Americans better wake up to the fact that this kind of jack-booted thuggery has been building up over the years and it is time to put a stop to it.

I hear there is a lot of room at Gitmo and that is exactly where all the IRS wrongdoers belong. For a very long time too, they have violated the public trust and deserve no better.

  • "gynecological counseling"

Are they sure that the great champions of women and privacy, who are fighting the Republicans' war against women would do such a thing?

The press, women's records, psychological records, the Obama Administration through their surrogates have been getting into areas that will enrage the press leftists. Where's my popcorn?!
