If they look convincingly dressed as slutty streetwalkers there might be reason for concern.
With all the problems in the school system, this one day of crossdressing is nothing to really be concerned about.
One day of the kids crossdressing won't cause any kid to ''become'' homosexual. and while I do not know all about this ''event'' would suspect that its not mandatory for all the kids to join in.
Think that people need to ''lightnen up'' and worry about the ''real issues''.
1) everybody calm down and take a deep breath
2) cross dressing does not encourage homosexuality. Even REAL cross dressers are generally heterosexual.
3) Events like crazy sock day, color day, etc., are frequently used in schools across the nation to perk up school spirit for Homecoming.
4) Marlena Deitrich is known for dressing like a man. Many of the current women's fashions are modeled on a "unisex look" that involves women wearing pants, etc. Nearly every Saturday on SNL there is a skit where someone is cross dressing. Adam Sandler's new movie has him playing a double role-himself and his sister-dressed in drag. This is not that big a deal. I think it was less than bright to comeup with this plan, but it isn't going to make a long standing change in anyone.
School kids are going to learn soon enough about these sick perversions without hearing it in a classroom. So it doesn't need to be curriculam studies. My kid would go as a male school student. When ask why he wasn't dressed like some Liberace, he could say he came as a normal male student with no sexual issues, kinks or perversions. If he failed the class, so what. It would be understood unless the person asking was some kind of pervert. I would hope my son would want to come as a Larry, not a fairy. To me, schools that promote this kind of sick perversion have some sick perverts running the district. Why else would they promote it?
Oh, please. My very manly-man carpenter father participated in a cross-dressing "fashion show" event when I was a baby. It was for a community fundraising event. Communities all over the place put on "womanless weddings" and the like, and I seriously doubt this causes a spike in homosexuality as a result.
And what community would sponsor THAT event? I think daddy had issues.....
You can't display anything Christmas in schools, you can't display a flag, but you are encouraged to cross dress? No wonder the Indians and Chinese are kicking our asses in math and science, garbage in...garbage out!!!!!

The teachers can't do reading,writing, and arithmetic. This brain-dead activity started in the early 1970s. 90% of the grade school teachers of nowdays are illiterate ignor-anuses and that is the best of their teaching abilities. Hell, I have seen 10th graders who couldn't add fractions. I had to have that skill down to get out of 5th grade (1950s)!

Perhaps next the school could have a "dress as your favorite Dictator day" Imagine a school full of little Hitlers, Stalins, Pol Pots, etc...And the teachers would be so proud.
This could lead to a whole line of dress up days (which by the way ties into education how?)
Perhaps dress as your favorite Rapper, Your favorite mass murderer, Your favorite child molester, your favorite lawyer....but stay away from any actual heros, founding fathers, or people who aren't nuttier than a fruitcake.
School need to stop pushing agendas. Look at OWS, what you have are PROUD products our our schools living in the park, stealing crap from each other, and telling us what we owe them....Someone actually owes them a swift kick in the ass.
We just keep pilling on the crap, and our students either drop out, or come out of school so poorly educated they can't get a job. I have seen college graduates than can not write, or spell. But I bet they can make their own costumes....
I feel sorry for confused troubled young people who do want some help for their Gender-Identity-Disorder (GID). All they get from the PC schools is pressure to conform to radical dysfunction.
