Italians have their own Harry Reid

If you feel like the Democrats weren’t listening to you during the ObamaCare debate, check out how this politician checks out during an interview.

(Does anyone know who the interviewer or the politician is?)

  • Yes, it's Giulio Andreotti.
For those who don't know him, it's the former leader of the "Democrazia Cristiana" party - the right leaning party that governed Italy for most of the Cold War years.
Even at an advanced age, he successfully fought back Italian left cronies' attempts to send him to jail.
At this point, he's just retired and for those that have seen him in action (in better days) he's a legendary figure. I hope he recovers soon.

  • It is Giulio Andreotti.

On 2 November 2008, Andreotti appeared on the entertainment program Questa Domenica, broadcast on the Italian television channel Canale 5. During his appearance, he appeared to suffer health difficulties and there was speculation he had suffered a stroke[citation needed]. Andreotti was twice posed a question and simply failed to respond, although his eyes remained open. The director cut to an advertisement break, following which Andreotti reappeared in seemingly better condition. The incident was presented to the viewer as a consequence of technical difficulties. A clip of the moment in question is available on YouTube.[11]
