Italy rules ‘no balls’ insult for men is a crime. “Italy’s highest court has ruled that telling a man he has “no balls” as an insult is a crime punishable with a fine because it hurts male pride in a ruling on a curious row between two cousins.” On the other hand, “no brains” is not only not an insult, it means one is qualified to sit on Italy’s highest court.

Sounds like the Italian justices have no balls.
"The ruling, which comes after years of legal dispute, did not specify whether any insults against women should now also be considered crimes."
Don't Italian women have a reputation for mustaches? Maybe shouting "Heil Hitler!" at a hairy-lipped female lawyer in the courtroom would be equivalent to saying a man has no balls.
Someone in P.C. Europe gives a sh t about male pride?
Now THAT is news.
P.S. So you can't say you have no balls to a man, but they can mandate that men pee sitting down. They're insane over there. That is not news.
This actually sounds very Italian. The men are the most self centered, "think they are Gods gift to women" of any other country I believe. I can see challenging their manhood would just tear them up! Sort of like the Hispanic Machismo thing.
You mean they can't find a better use for the legal system there?
Must have been a slow week.
Slow decade or more!

Ooooh, that's gonna leave a mark!
I've been thinking about this. Isn't the fact that the guy who was told he had no balls had to go to court over it proof in itself that he has no balls?
I think you just broke Italian law. Expect a knock on your door and a falsetto voice screaming, "Open up!"
Oh I dunno, sounds like they're on the right track to me. Although I would think it better if a retaliatory punch in the mouth was ruled as justifiable.
What's going to happen when you order spaghetti with no meatballs? Will you get arrested?
As long as your noodles aren't limp, it's okay.
