Well it looks like you guys are going to have to do with out me for a while. My wonderful wife (whom I will not be referring to as Mrs. Hooker) is in the hospital right now preparing for a very blessed event. Thank you Editor for letting me make this post. Thanks to everybody for the great messages and well wishes! Both mother and daughter are healthy, doing well and home as of a couple hours ago. Again thanks to you all! :)

Sound advice.. I don't feel comfy doing that with an AR-15, and have nothing else in the arsenal. Always wanted a shotgun for a quick ruckus
An AR works just fine. Be cleaning it at the kitchen table when the boys come calling and they will get the message.

I had two daughters and you're absolutely right. They both went through periods when they were insufferable emotional wrecks, then miraculously reverted to being sweethearts. Boys are much easier: they wake up one day with a boner and then think about nothing but girls until they're about 50. Simple.
