  • Actually, I think that may have been an illusion. I don't think Jackie was so cold and awful. I expect she was tired of her husband screwing anthing he could reach while she was in a gilded cage. Also, if you look back at interviews, etc, she doesn't grab me as the brightest bulb in the box. The perfect political wife: elegant, passive, with no known personal opinions. From the social class the Kennedys wanted to be a part of.

    • She was smart enough to get Onassis to pay her millions of dollars for the benefit of sitting at his side. At least when it came to money she was a smart cookie. She was ALSO smart enough to have a documentation before they got married that if she got an STD he had to pay her tons of moolah (as per my understanding of different bios I have read on her). So she knew he was gross... she I think played the whole "look" thing. She orchestrated the cute photo op of her son saluting his Dad as the coffin passed by. She told the boy to do it.

      Her daughter on the other hand... ugh

• JFK spent his post war life high as a kite from the pain medication. Of course, he'd do virtually any woman. Jackie, while by no means anyone I ever admired, had to be more humiliated than Hillary because of the higher social standards of the time.

• This would surprise me if he was banging Thomas. I have yet to see class or any reasonable standard from the Kennedy family, including John.
