He conflated Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan (which happen to be right next to each other) - seems like a reasonable mistake to me. I can't pronounce either one of them. God help the poor sports announcers when they play each other in basketball. Try saying, "Kyrgyzstan beats Kazakhstan with a last-second buzzer beater!"
