Bad news: Jon Stewart not exactly buying Obama’s executive-privilege claim. Stewart’s audience got more info on Fast and Furious in 2 minutes than most mainstream “news” consumers have in two years. Seriously, we had an intelligent well-informed person, a middle-aged PhD, ask us yesterday what FnF was all about. She had never heard of it before this week. Perhaps soon everyone will know. Recently, my husband and I were talking to our Sailors and we mentioned how pissed we were about the whole thing.... Then our jaws dropped, a number of them thought we were talking about a new Vin Diesel movie! When we explained to them the situation, they were furious, as well. But we were banging our head in our hands thinking, how can these people be so clueless?!?!?

Still, it's a Liberal on TV dissing Obama. More than I could ever have hoped for. Obama has gone too far this time, and it's going to bite him on the ass.
Nothing here to go all jolly over. Unlike n0bama, apparently Stewart has SOME standards as he did a piece on the Bush claim for Executive Privilege back in the day - this was just to make him seem consistent.
I watched both videos - but just when John should have pointed out that Executive Privilege means Obama is INVOLVED in Fast & Furious, he swaps to the 'oh, this is just as nasty as Bush and Clinton' bit and nicely sidesteps the question.
