Judge holds Democrat mayor of New Orleans in contempt of court. For not paying the city’s bills and refusing to make any sort of plan to pay the city’s bills. In response, the angry mayor is screeching about a “judicial coup.”

Every time a democrat is told to follow the law, they get bent out of shape and throw a fit, and in this case claim it is a conspiracy... One thing that democrats are really good at is throwing a temper tantrum and acting like a spoiled child in a toy store who doesn't understand they can not have everything they want...New Orleans got the goobermint they voted for....Big city=shithole=democrat in charge.
You would think the Mayor had brains enough to lie about having a plan(I know, you're shocked) but he couldn't even be bothered to do that. I hope he has a nice long timeout in prison.
Same thing I thought. You can't even be bothered to have one of your college interns draw up a FAKE plan to pay the bills? These Democrat mayors refuse to face reality.

They could easily just stop showing up, and let the city burn.
What case would the city have against them? Failure to do the job they're not being paid to do?
