• Jack White of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, or the Dead Weather, did a gig in NYC @ Radio City. He walked off stage in less then an hour...

  ...say what you will about Bieber, he puked twice, & soldiered on. 1 of the guys on Opie & Anthony's Sirius/XM show was the Jack White gig, & said it was BS.

  • Neil Young performed at the Louisville Gardens in the early 80s. He left the stage after about an hour and couldn't continue because he was sick. A number of concert goers started throwing chairs. If someone is sick or hurt, that's one thing. But if someone is pulling a pretentious, artiste tantrum, I would want my money back.

    • The merch stand was refunding, the box office was not. Not yet anyway.

• Yes, he HAS gotten into a little bit of trouble. Serious? You decide.

  As far as I'm concerned, he's definitely a lot better role model than the average rapper, but then again, I could say that of pond scum.

  • Bieber pukes and it makes the news......good God....What next Bieber Craps? perhaps with photos on NBC? and Matt Lauer can explain it to us....

• Did he get downwind of one of the prior rap acts? That could cause someone to barf.

• I believe that it is called "Performance Art".

• While I neither know, nor care about his musical talents; He has never (to the best of my rather limited knowledge) been arrested on drug/drinking tearing stuff up or just being a general scumbag charges like so many others.
  If that IS the case, and again I may be mistaken, he is setting a better example than some of the bands/artists I listened to in my youth.

  Lets face it, he has to be light years ahead (socially speaking) than some of the rap "artists" out there. If you have children, which would you rather have them listen to?

  • Actually the only thing I remember him getting a lot of media attention for was when he got a tatoo of a cross on his leg to express his christian faith. Oh and more recently I believe there was a story about how his mom was encourgaed to abort him when she found out she was pregnant.

    • Yes, his Mom resisted pressure to abort him. She says she also has led a celibate life the past twenty years since she became more serious about Christianity and says she'll continue it until she's married. I'll give Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez credit in that at least so far they witness to abstinence. There are so many worse role models as the thread about the rapper Rick Ross shows. They put Bieber tickets on sale for his concert in Louisville November 2 and I think they sold out in about five minutes.
