• Seems her brain damage started 45 years ago!

• Rove is catching a lot of flack for his comments. Personally, I love it. He is doing what Harry are is does to people from his perch in the Senate. When your opponents like Clinton live in the gutter, you sometimes need to climb in and fight them there.

  He maybe didn't go far enough. He says she spent 30 days in the hospital after a fall. 30 days sounds like a rehab stint to me. I think Navyvet2 is 100% right. Rove wouldn't have the balls (and probably shouldn't anyway) to drop that innuendo.

• H e is being eaten alive with this comment, but seriously, she's Old, she fell and hit her noggin, and while she probably DID have a concussion, SHE has referred to blood clot, which is much more serious
  , and evidenced at least as one indicator of residual damage. That was why as she was bitching about her eye sight. Who knows how much damage she has? It's not like she is going to tell us!

  • I've had a number of concussions. I still haven't turned into a leftist pig, and I know the truth when I see it. I guess there's different kinds of concussions.

• The link says "Clinton, weakened by a stomach virus, fell in her Washington, DC, home in December 2012 and sustained a concussion." I think "weakened by a stomach virus" is a dog whistle for "drunk on her ass."

• Our electoral process clearly does not work. There is no way that you could choose a worse bunch of corrupt morons to fill the chairs in our bureaucracy by randomly picking names from the payroll of Walmart. Think of how many hours of media time could be replaced with quality cartoons and how many dollars of campaign contributions could be funneled directly to the Treasury.

  • I doubt that anyone with real leadership qualities with any intent to do anything for regular folks would survive the rabid attack dog media. The system as it is currently virtually insures that the only candidates we're going to be able to elect will amount to slight variations of business as usual and the continued destruction of the country.

      • Yep. The great transformational statesman is a myth.

        • It's a very useful (to them) myth that keeps would-be activism on the sidelines- similar to the GOP- creating the illusion that we have a voice when at best they are putting words in our mouths. Anyone in the political system with the temerity to speak up is likely to find themselves the subject of a trumped up scandal or under indictment. What we have are mostly progressives- divided up into "opposing" teams for our "benefit".
