• What Mr. Karzai really meant to say was "Thank you for allowing me to get filthy rich from the money I received from both the US government bribing me , and from all the kick backs from all the warlords growing poppies. More then enough to go into comfortable exile after the US military pulls out and the Taliban takes over again.

• Mr Karzai needs to take his none bathing wife beating ass down to every US Military camp and thank each and every US Servicemember for what they have done for his shit hole country. If it had been me in the WH at the time of the invasion, it wouldn't have been much. Just some very bright lights and clouds followed by alot of very hot rocks with plenty of glasss. I would've then invited others from the region to come see what their future held if they chose to SCREW with the USA.

  • I'd have pretty much done the same thing, although I don't know about nukes. The Special Forces and CIA on the ground directing airstrikes worked great and I just would have continued with that until there wasn't a mountain left in the whole damn country.

  • AND he needs to go to Walter Reed and personally thank every wounded warrior there, AND he need to visit Arlington so he can thank those who died for his dung-heap of a country...

      • He saw a documentary on TV about the U.S. Mint, and how money is printed. With his exceedingly limited knowledge and intelligence, he thinks that's where wealth is created.

        • amusingly that fiat money is dwarfed by a staggering ocean of credit, much of which is built on fractional reserve banking, new sorts of unleveraged lenders, and the fiat money of other nations. $50T in credit (goes way beyond government), up from $1T when dollar slipped off gold? Actual capital, or even "real" money (by fiat!), hardly make a dent when the economy runs off that pool of credit. When the credit supply shrinks, the whole economy sags with it (this happened for the first time in decades in, what.. 2007-2008?).

          But it did help us bury the Soviet Union
