Kelsey Grammer: I invesed 6 figures in windmills and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. Well, the “Frasier” star didn’t actually say that but that’s the gist of it, except he didn’t get a T-shirt.

I mostly invested in oil, gas, and tobacco and have done quite well over the past many years mostly because lots of other people are investing in the same industry. I'll bet even a bunch of greedy selfish libs have those investments.
Wind farms, solar panels, and unicorn farts have never really tempted me.
I'm starting to invest in brass, lead, and gunpowder.
And reloading equipment. The way things are around here ammo is as hard to find as unicorn farts so I have started reloading my old brass.
My Dad spent a lifetime making bad investments, but I always enjoyed his enthusiasm. Back in the 1970s he was excited about a company named Pheonix Gems that had a new pesticide.
"This stuff is so safe you can feed it to the cows without harming them, and so effective flies won't touch their poop!" he said excitedly.
To which I replied: "Is that a useful feature, Dad? Is there a big demand for pesticide-eating cows with clean poop?"
The company soon disappeared from the stock exchanges and showed a zero value on his Merrill Lynch statement.
Hell Navy, over the years I invested great sums in wine, woman, and song....the rest I just wasted.
He's supposed to be one of Hollywood's few conservatives, isn't he? So why was he dumb enough to think windmills were a good idea?
He was following the lead of T. Boone Clampett?
It was too hot, and he'd hoped they'd produce more cooling breezes.
also invested, just fyi. :D
One of the guys I worked with in the desert had his girlfriend convinced that those were fans, to cool the desert. It made sense. When the fans were turned on, there was a strong breeze, when the government turned them off, no wind. I couldn't help but make a remark about what he told her twelve inches looked like.
Reminds me of a guy who for about 4 weeks didn't tell his wife about the key fob start feature on her new car. Smart lady, she just had no idea such a thing existed and he messed with her mind big time.
Start the thing from inside the house when she was still steps away, shut it down as she walked back to the house while it warmed up. He'd start it from inside a restaurant (when he was driving) during dessert so when they walked out it was running, all toasty and the windows defrosted.
They're nice people and have a great relationship but I'd hate to think what the payback was for that one and how long she planned it.
Hey Kelsey, when they tear down the wind farm you can still take the shaft.
I was going to say, he invested in windmills and all he got was the shaft.
