Cynically, I suspect this move will have the taxpayers paying for all the maintenance and improvements to the place, while the kennedys continue to use it exclusively for all but one day a year - when it might be open for tours by us unwashed heathens. If that is the case, I will chime in with others here and suggest that the day it is open to the public should be Mary Jo Kopechne's birthday or the anniversary of her death.
Of course it is a way to get us to pay for all the maintenance, and I suspect the utilities and taxes as well!
The power to run the complex will be generated by wind farms located offshore from some evil one per-center's beach house.
