Labor unions that pushed Obamacare through want out. “Major unions like the AFL-CIO and the Teamsters are now demanding that they be allowed to stay on their current health care plans and receive government subsidies to cover the increased costs some of Obamacare’s provisions will impose on lower-income workers.” In other words, another bunch of lefties all in favor of sharing the wealth until it’s their wealth that gets shared. Interesting.

I heard they received an exemption a couple of weeks after Obamacare was passed. This is old news! As I posted elsewhere, nearly every business who pushed for the passage of Obamacare is now asking for an exemption.
Each union, sometimes down to individual locals, must apply separately.
I fully expect "Dear Leader" to give them an exemption in one of those late night, no media allowed, signing parties of his. Can't let his future shock troops down now can he.
What do you know. They got what the asked for and now they don't want it. Guess it sucks to be them.

Unfortunately they will for sure be able to bribe an exemption. The corrupt-leadership (there is either one word or a redundancy) is afraid that their members might figure out that the "leadership" pushed them to vote for this POS. Well, at least some of them might figure it out.
As a member of the Operating Engineers, Local 12, for over thirty years, I was ALWAYS told that I must vote Democrat. ALWAYS. I never once did it.
I was told to vote in Republican primaries. Specifically vote for the weak candidate to "muddy the waters." This came directly from the Teamsters local president. I told him to go **** himself.
They give out any more waivers no one's going to be paying for this piece of garbage.
