    What it is is f*ck America trade. Most favored nation status for China for the lat 25 years.....Look it up.

    Also it was good to see Trump talks ridiculous regulations, ILLEGAL regulations, as THE MAJOR cause of companies/corporations leaving and the NUMBER ONE reason small businesses are not happening. NOT HAPPENING AT ALL. But you Trump haters will vote Queen Canqueeles onto finally make us VZ.

      Since Trump has all his clothing line made in China, will he bring those jobs back here, and eat all the increased costs associated with it? The cost of hiring Union Garment Workers, paying property taxes, income taxes, benefits, etc? Is he still going to want to increase taxes on the rich? Will he put his money where his big mouth is?

      • Basically now that Trump has gotten every thing he can out of cheap labor from China he's going to shut it down for everybody else.

      • Having quite a bit of experience in the textile industry, I will tell you that there just not many textile factories left in the USA due to EPA regulations. I doubt there ever will be again because a guy like Trump knocks those regulations down only to have a guy like Obama come in put even more onerous ones in.

        Your argument is a straw man one. Trump does not own any capital intensive factories. He buys from established vendors. Of which there very few in the USA left after decades of progressive rule diktats.

        Final question pappa, do you only buy made in USA?. Do you put your money where your big fat mouth is?

        • You can find American made stuff but it's hard. Also, a lot of things people think are "Made in America" aren't.

          On the flip side a lot of items made in the USA are made in Canada or Mexico (GM, Ford, Chrysler) all have plants there. Ford's opening up another one in Mexico.

          Then you have companies like Toyota and VW who have plants in the US.

          It's crazy. You buy your American car made in a foreign country and your foreign car made in the US.

          I'm getting ready to do some things to my Range Rover for off roading and I'm now seeing Chinese tires on the market. Look on Craigslist and you'll find you can get 4 265/75 16" mud tires for around $400. 2 Goodyear MTR's will cost you more.

          Now I'm not planning on buying any because I don't need to get stuck in Northern Nevada with 4 flat tires in the middle of nowhere but people will buy them.

          I looked up one manufacturer and you can get these tires direct from China for between $20-$40 bucks new but you'd have to buy a couple of thousand probably. I'll stick with the MTRs as I've been all over Nevada and the Sierras on them and never even had a flat (and you're talking some nasty places).

          I buy Milwaukee tools, Ford vehicles, and Vizio TVs.
          I'm sorry to see that you have now gone full Trumpbot and feel the need to insult someone because they don't agree with you.
          My argument isn't straw man, there are plenty of American made clothing options out there. You ought to look more carefully at that. The prices are high because of the regulations you mention, but Trump wouldn't be able to make the huge profits he does on his stuff if he had them made here, because in order to keep up the profit margin, he would have to charge prices that only the uber rich could afford, and limit his market.

        • Even way back when I bought my Ford F-350, in '02, Ford was building a lot of trucks in Mexico. When I handed them the check for five grand to get them started on building my truck to my order, I told them, "Make sure it comes out of Louisville, or I won't accept delivery."

          Now, the RV that I live in full time is a pile of crap, badly designed, badly built, etc. And it was made in Riverside, CA. By Mexicans that I didn't get to run citizenship checks on.
