Granted, I do not subscribe to televised brainwash so I'm likely a tad behind the "information" 8-ball but aren't deficits coming in under projections- implying less need for things like increasing the debt ceiling... so what exactly is the justification for this "crisis" calling for an additional leap toward default without any discussion?
A deficit is a deficit and that means you need to borrow (or print) that difference between what you foolishly spent and what you extorted out of productive people.
0bama promised that his plan would half the deficit from when he took office. Instead he has doubled the deficit. Under 0's prolific and foolish spending the debt has gone up some 7,000 billion dollars. The GDP has gone up some $500 billion dollars but that is unadjusted for inflation. All in all we have got very little for our borrowing. The 0bama/Pelosi Stimulus has been calculated to have generated .62 for every 1 dollar spent..or wasted. The economic super geniuses said that it would be a multiplier of 2.1 to 2.5.
In short the leftist government still spends over $1,000 billion more than it takes in (or about .41 cents for ever dollar spent) even at record levels of confiscation and high inflation.
This is a sure fire way to negotiate, if you do NOT want a deal.
