I've attended a couple of Earth Day celebrations. The piles of trash all over the park were insurmountable. And that was AFTER the wackos had gone home.

After reading the article, I'm thinking maybe a name change is in order. Maybe, "LiveWildFantasizing?" Or I could be nice and go with "LiveConjecture."
Did you notice the only Sherpa quoted was talking about bare rock rather than avalanches? There was a complete disconnect between the point LiveScience was trying to make and the point the Sherpa was making.
Most people know that is the highest point on earth and therefore closer to the sun.
What caused avalanches prior to global warming? Melting and refreezing of snow layers?
Why is this one any different?
Sounds like Libscience are the ones thinking the planet is only a few thousand years old and this never happened before
It's questionable whether they actually believe what they are putting out there... the point is that we're supposed to believe it... which is why implementing Common Core is so important to the progressives.

I knew this story was coming when I heard the initial reports of the avalanche.
That's odd, I always thought avalanches were caused by an excessive amount of snow buildup, bot warming.
Penguins are no longer found on Mt. Everest. We know why and that debate is settled. The decrease in Yeti sightings could also be attributed to global warming but we can't be sure until further studies are completed.
Yeti sightings have been decreasing since the rule forbidding the use of hallucinogenic drugs on Everest.
