• Good. Let the Germans and the rest of Europe take care of themselves. And pay for it also.
  We have Cuban troops and Chinese security actively working against pro-democracy protestors in Venezuela and the Media & the Administration acts like nothing is happening.
  Venezuela is the largest exporter of oil to the USA and literally in our back yard and all we hear is about how one Fascist government is pushing around a socialist one on the other side of the planet.

• MGAP part of what you say I agree with. Yet by treaty (NATO) we've agreed to help defend Europe. If quagmire hadn't reneged on the missle defenses for Poland and the other countries, they'd be in a much better position to defend themselves. As for the southern borders being secured I'm all in. Yet all the politicians are not.

  • Poland could have built its own thermonuclear strike capacity 20 years ago, just like the French did back in in the 1960s. Enough nukes to kill more of the enemy´s civilians than there where people in France.
    However, beyond words, the post-communist regime did not care at all about national sovereignty, where too cowardly to fight themselves.
    Becoming someone else´s bitch was the most convenient option, certainly the most profitable until recently.
    At least the Polish politicians and bureaucratic are not as dumb, psychotic and kleptocratic as the "ukrainian" ones, not even close.

  • Yes, i'm aware of the treaties. My line of thinking was that we have spent zillions of dollars and spent countless American lives defending a mostly ungrateful Europe from itself. Meanwhile we have an unarmed but financially incapacitating force massed at our borders and entering our country at will. Those tanks go for what? A million five used and we are going to put them in NC. Probably mothballed as well. Keep in mind most of what i post around here is tongue in cheek laced sarcasm.

• I don't think I really have a problem with this. Deploy these units on our southern border to enforce immigration. No need for the knock down drag out fight that will be immigration reform. Fuck Europe, we've given them enough of our blood and money.

  • I suspect these tanks are being brought back so as to bring democracy to the red states, with a "diverse" version of the einsatzgruppens right behind.

    If Obama or Hillary win at home, they will help the EU establish another cultural-marxist totalitarian superstate, another war.

  • Run illegals down with a main battle tank or shoot them with a 120mm supersonic sabot round. Great way to win hearts and minds and and showing an utter lack of understanding what a MBT is for.

    • Because after WW2 having all those tanks and ground forces in Europe accomplished what? A deterrent from further Soviet aggression. Put a battle tank on the border and they would avoid it like the plague. No need to even carry rounds for the main cannon. Send a few rounds from the machine gun down range at sporadic intervals.

      Oh, you'll never win the hearts and minds of the Hispanic voter. End of discussion.

• Nothing says "f@ck-off" quite like an M1a1 tank. Diplomacy and air power, peace in our time.

• The Europeans have to feel abandoned with the Russian Bear on the prowl. NATO has been weakened by quagmire, clinton and heinz-kerry. Now you have those of Jewish Faith being ordered out of the Eastern Ukraine or being told to register. Just like the Nazi did in the 1920s. Sadly history is repeating itself and just as in the past, the federal government is weakening our military and leaving what few allies that the US has exposed.

  Putin has made it clear from many years ago. He will attempt to return Russia back to what he and the other KGB agents see as its glory days. All thanks to quagmire, clinton and heinz-kerry.

  • WW2 was over 68 years ago, you don´t see the israelis needing US military bases and they had the freakin´ holocaust, if the zeropean regimes can´t stand on their own feets by now... Remember back in 1999? That´s right, NATO sided with muslims and you know who it will side with in 2015 or 2017.

  • What would be ironic is that in 2-5 years America sees Obama, Clinton, Holder and Kerry all living in the same apartment complex as Snowden in Moscow! Living in perpetual fear that an American agent might show up to settle scores, trapped in Russia and unwilling to leave. What would be even better is to have these traitors inhabiting the lowest levels of Leavenworth.

    Mooch could come and visit once a month, if she could gather up the bus fare -- being a waitress at the local Denny's restaurant doesn't pay much. This is especially true when the IRS is demanding back payment for the millions she frittered away on vacations. The lawyer fees will be horrendous! Bwahahahaaa.... I hope these people ALL have a hard time outside government. HARD....
