We just had temps in the 20's (and teens in the Hill Country) in early December-unheard of in South Texas. A couple years back it SNOWED in the Rio Grande valley. Yeah. we are burning up. no doubt.
I'ts been down to the upper 30's in San Diego. That's unusual. And every time it happens, I tell my lady that HER people are talking about global warming, while she's shivering. She still insists that she's a liberal.
That Pro-Abortion, partial-birth abortion defending zealot has a lot of nerve to lecture about "endangering humankind". She may use such intemperate language in the first place to assuage the repressed guilt her conscience is experiencing for defending 4000 abortions a day in this country and many more around the globe.

I was listening to a news story on the radio about how 2011 had the second highest number of storms that caused over one-billion dollars in damage. The two things that stuck out was there was no mention of real versus inflated dollars and the "explanation" for the storms were climate change (of course) AND I quote: "freak occurances". That is some fine journalism and science at work there.
I would suggest that God is just fed up! We've had some major catastrophic events in the last decade and taken as a whole, it should speak to us. Unfortunately, but expectedly, it doesn't, which is why I believe it (God's discipline) is going to get worse and when it does the AGW Gore-bots won't even be an afterthought.

That's been my take Kick. Every report reads (hottest, coldest, wettest, driest highest, etc) since ____________(fill in the blank. Even the short time we have been recording weather phenomenon, these things have all happened before and (at the risk of going all Battlestar Galactica) will alll happen again. We are experience climate change-like the climate is changing all the time due to a number of factors in the earth's cyles. DO I believe in reduce, reuse and recylce? Sure. Would I like to see less overall pollution? Absolutely. But the greatest pollution problem we have in San Antion is smoke every spring from fires set by Mexican farmers. Despite everyone here having cars, boats, jetskis, motorcycles and assorted other gas burning engines, the Mexicans in another country. are causing the biggest problem. Why is only America supposed to "clean up their act? What about the rest of the planet? As long as Ms Boxer and others fly all over creation (jet fuel is one of the worst offenders for pollutants) and we are flying sports teams all over the planet, I am not real concerned aout MY carbon footprint. I don't even have a dishwasher!
