OK, I'm guessing (HOPING!) that this woman was a cougar.
Her 25 year old ex boyfriend attacked her, her 11 year old daughter shot him, and there were 4 other children in the home.
If she was his age, I shudder to think how old she was when she started popping out babies, and I am making a wild guess here, but does anyone lese think this may be a welfare family?
Regardless of how old she may be, it wasn't mentioned in the article, she lives with her 5 children, in a trailer park, and has a 25 year old boyfriend. This is the script for a white trash soap opera!
I read in another news article that the mom has a restraining order against the man because he was abusing the children. So at least she is a good enough mom to put her kids first and leave the man and put measures in place to protect her kids, and not just with a piece of paper. She had arms in the house and she made sure at least the older one knew how to use it because working single moms can't always be there.
sidenote to Poppa, I work with a lady who is a single mom, living in a trailer park with her 2 children and 2 grandchildren. She isn't on welfare or any form of assistance, not even food stamps. She just does the best she can as the sole provider after leaving a very abusive husband who used to beat her on almost a daily basis. She left when he when after and tried to beat the daughter. She got in-between them and took the beating to spare the daughter. She fled in the middle of the night with nothing but the her kids and the clothes on her back and started over with a little help from the church. My point is you never know how someone got where they are, let's try not to jump to conclusions.
They could be white or black it doesn't matter and his name does not denote any particular racial makeup, but I concur with the fact that this was a woman perhaps 5-15 years older than the man. She would have had to be 13-15 if she had the 11 year old assuming that is her oldest. Now it is possible and perhaps that explains that they are on welfare which is possible because the children were taken away from her.

Thanks for correcting the record, your tone is unnecessary perhaps you are off your meds again, but highly expected. I am responding to thank you though, but I will add that she doesn't seem to have family members to help take care of the kids so they were taken into custody which can also add to the theory that they are on welfare. Have a nice day, but I sincerely hope not to talk to you again.
