Being from the mountain of northern Mew Mexico I have seen a few avalanches, nothing like this one, but still nothing to mess with. The point is, you see one you haul ass!
Every year there are several skiers or snowborders killed in the Rockies by avalanches. You hear about deaths and destruction along the Sierra's in California. It seems people get more adventurous, i.e. dumber, every year.
Killed a whole bunch of people in the process, yet the lunatics will continue to climb the mountain.
