If Matthews understood the history of racism & politics in America, he would know it has almost been exclusive to the left in this country. From Jim Crow, poll taxes, the Klan, to those who stood in the schoolhouse doors, to the filibuster of the 64 civil rights act, all the way to the total subjugation of much of black America to "The Great Society" & all of the welfare that has destroyed the black family. ALL of the sh!t that has ruined black America has been designed & constructed of the Dems & the liberal/progressive left. Matthews doesn't understand that, & doesn't want to understand it.
If we hate Obama because he is half Black, do we love the side that is hald white? How does that work?
I simply have to wonder about the existence of a living and just God when a guy like Tony Snow gets cancer and dies. And Chris Mathews is still alive.
So with this brand of logic we have this: those darn Republicans are so racist that they never even bring up race and that is just so racist. Mathews is insane.

Mr. Sowell is just one of many black men I look up to. Obama is not.
The problem with Obama isn't because he's black! For God's sake, I almost wrote in Dr. Rice in the last election. It's because he's an ineffective leader. Yes, I know there are some racist conservatives (and the overwhelming majority of us wish they would STFU). You want racism? Check out Twitchy's post about how when Stacy Dash tweeted excerpts of Dr. King's speech, she got tons of responses along the lines of "shut up white girl". Or how in one of Margaret Chi's books she flat out calls Michele Malkin a race traitor. Or check out the gay sites constantly calling Ann Coulter a man (transphobic much?). Wow, I just realized I sited examples all with conservative women. Liberals are sexist too.
