McCain and Graham on Syria: Obama’s “red line” has been crossed, so it’s time to take action

• How about we use our own resources like 200yrs worth and than worry about more cause the second we say fu## you to the middle east gas prices will be like 50 cents a gallon when we do that America will be rockin the world!!!!Brazil did it they payin like 47cents a gallon? What the fu!! we savin it for????

• If America gets involved in the Syrian civil war, we'll end up doing all the fighting, all the dying and all the spending while installing another hostile Islamist regime. Syria isn't worth one American life nor worth one American dollar; why should we fight for people who would gladly slit out throats.

  Goddam, how many times do we have to make the same error? How many more of our soldiers have to die protecting/installing hostile regimes? How much more money do we have to borrow to pay for all this madness?

• Barry couldn't retrieve his balls from the Wookies purse long enough to decide what suit to wear today. The two dribbling half-wits in the picture couldn't successfully maneuver through a game of Stratego. The Pentagon is full of little girls busily planning an imaginary tea party. At this point in our history we should just leave the world alone and worry about getting our own asses out of the proverbial ringer.

• I'm guessing Obama or any president would probably take the interim step of arming the Syrian rebels before putting U.S. boots in there. Of course, if we helped arm the rebels, Iran and others would say that's as good as us being in there. I wonder if Graham might get a primary challenge next year? Maybe he figures that no one has the money to challenge him?

  • Hell. The DNC will gladly help Graham out.....again.

• barry is all bluff when it comes to dealing with the Syrians. He won't go any where near that cluster he helped to start and create. He's afraid of what Putin might think and do. Make no mistake about it. Putin and his friends have no qualms about backing Asshad and providing him with what ever is needed to remain in power. The mess in Syria has been raging for more than a year and its gone no where except to give the Iranians and the brotherhood a place to try out new tactics.

• Let those two assholes and their families be the first in country with weapons in their hand and when their body bags come home we might consider spending the life of our young warriors, but I doubt it. I don't want to enter into a war with the asshole currently in the white house. To go to war with a man as anti American as he is would be stupid, and dumber yet is going to war with a congress that enjoys an approval of less than fifteen percent for many years now. The action would become politicized from the gate and all that will come of it is "Crowley's", large corporations making a lot of money while our young men and women are killed, all the while listening on the news to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Fienstien and the first prick patting themselves on the back. This country is too broke and too fractured to enter a war.

  How many remember the claim of UN inspector's finding that WMDs were spirited out of Iraq and into Syria by cover of night right before we attacked Iraq. They had pictures with shipping labels on crates of missiles and various warheads sitting in Syrian yards. The gas being used more than likely was the gas GW was after in the first place.
  I would much rather watch as those muslim barbarians go crazy killing each other. That's what they do and have been doing for thousands of years. We have no business entering into the fray.

  If we just could act like we had some sense and stop allowing a small bunch of environmental extremist idiots from freezing all progress here in the USA thereby allowing the exploration of our huge oil fields here in the USA we could let those people blow each other into extinction and live happily ever after and once again become the great country we once were.

• These two need to concentrate on eating their jello and getting to the potty on time....Nobody gives a shit about getting into another war in the middle east, Syria already looks like a trailer park on Saturday night where they handed out free booze, guns and ammo, and boat loads of porno...If you let them kill each other, we will just stand outside the fence and watch this time.

  • Agreed. If they are killing each other, what is the down side? It seems like both sides in that particular shithole have plenty of ammo so I see nothing for us to do. Correction, make that all 25 or more, sides.

• We can't afford to intervene in every country throughout the world, nor should we even if we could afford it. We have enough problems here at home, why the hell are these politicians even thinking about Syria? I can answer that, it's because they're all power hungry and have an unnatural desire to control every aspect of peoples lives across the globe and here at home as well. Fortunately these two idiots aren't getting any younger.

    • No doubt. You can say that about what happens here at home as well with the whole 'national security' issue. All this doom and gloom, fear-mongering, everything in this world is a threat to every aspect of our lives, but it's all BS. It's a facade that covers their real agenda of gaining power and money which is orchestrated by both the corporations and politicians. They're sleeping with each other but oddly enough only the American people are getting screwed.

• I don't care if all of Syria smells like my neighbor's swimming pool in July. This is not worth one dollar let alone one drop of American blood! Why expand the caliphate?
