Of course they ignore it. These are evil opponents of socialism, the inevitable goal of humankind's evolution. They should be stopped.
What would be news is if they actually admitted they think that. It would also be a news item if they admitted that they think it should be done here, first to the Tea Party, then conservatives in general, and then Christians. Don't kid yourselves, they really do think that. Every now and then, one of them has a slip of the tongue and lets a little of that opinion out. But in general, these experts in incrementalism know quite well what to say and what not to say.
Wait...you mean this isn't being caused by Catastrophic Climate Cataclysm? What else could it possibly be? Crony Socialism is the recommended form of government by elites from Beijing to Berkeley, so that's not it; maybe the evil Koch brothers are doing it just to be nasty.

Nothing to see in Caracas at all. Those students in the street are a mirage and figment of the imagination. The msm here in the US won't be able to report the collapse of socialism and what Chavez did to Venezuela. It will put a whole in their lies and the spin that quagmire has been trying to put out.
