The government and . Insurance companies have beenwhining about fee for service payments for some 50 years in my personal experience. The theory is that doctors will stop ordering unneccessary tests (many as cya medicine) if they aren't getting paid on an itemized basis. For instance, a routine appointment wouldinclude appropriate labs. Xrays, etc. Unfoftunately, they tried this with HMOs and it was a spectacular failure. Needed testing wss not done, patients were not seen in a timely manner and there were some ugly surprises like no coverage for blood transfusions. The sooner they can kill usoff, the less they will have to spend, both for Medicare and by extension, Social security payments.
I misread the headline; I thought it said Medicare won't pay "feces" for services next year; the story would have been accurate either way.
Headline should read "Obamacare kills the elderly according to plan"
Consider yourself lucky, in 10 years Medicare will be bankrupt, and you will either have to go on Obamacare or when you hit 65, they'll just abandon you on Antarctica.
