Melissa Harris-Perry equates NBA with slavery. Sure, every day the NBA comes up to some poor fellow and says “sink baskets for millions of dollars a year plus millions more in endorsements or else!” Those poor souls would much rather be talking to themselves in front of MSNBC’s cameras next to MH-P, right?

Cuban's comment from the video isn't racist. What he is saying is that perceptions matter. How you present yourself matters. Dress like a thug, get treated like a thug, white or black doesn't matter.
MH-P is an idiot, and I don't say that lightly. While she would accuse NBA team owners of slavery for paying players (on a non-discriminatory basis) millions, her policies of "community children" and "healthcare is a right" are much closer to slavery in that they require forced contributions either through taxes or through actual labor, to enact.
The stupid is strong with this one. In fact, she might be the Darth Vader of stupid.

I am guilty. I have often said that while not slavery, with multimillion dollar contracts,most professional sports teams are major RT ity black and are bought sold traded by predominately white owners.
Shouldn't we have some WHITE, ASIAN, and HISPANIC affirmative action in the NBA?
No relationship to slave at all. None. Slaves don't get paid millions, and they don't have the ability to walk away. It wouldn't bother me if stick and ball sports ceased to exist tomorrow, though.
