Actors Meryl Streep and George Clooney used their post-Golden Globe appearances Sunday to advocate for political issues, promoting recognition of women and accountability in Sudan. Just as charity should begin at home so should accountability. Specifically with 1600 Pennsylvania avenue and the useful idiots that helped put Barry there. But, just like with charity, accountability is the sort of thing these folks are only interested in when it isn’t their turn to pay.

I admire Margaret Thatcher and so am somewhat interested in seeing "The Iron Lady", though Streep's outspoken liberalism is annoying. Clooney's Obamadolatry is also annoying though I won't criticize him for trying to help the people of Sudan the past few years. A few years back Streep was on the "TODAY" show making liberal statements while pushing a remake of "The Manchurian Candidate". Her co-star Denzel Washington seemed to disagree with her. Maybe Denzel is a closet conservative or at least moderate. "The Manchurian Candidate" is about a man controlled by others becoming President of the United States. I've heard it's a favorite movie of George Soros.
Not a very good movie, given as we're living it right now.
