Michelle O’s ‘healthy’ lunches going to the pigs — literally. Amusing that the only ones who want to eat Michelle’s health food are hogs.

This is the unpopular view, I realize, but I LIKE the new standards. 2 pickles or a tblsp of ketchup is not a vegetable. Hell, chicken nuggets have so much breading, tty he shouldcount as a carb insteadof a protein. What I AM disappointed in is the implementation of the rules. Lazy school districts anf food service managers are makingno effort to.make the food tasty or appealing to kids, despite being shown again and again that it is possible, and can still stay within the tiny amount of money they have to work with. Also, many school districts are being told to immediately implement changes, where le still being held to multiyear contracts to use governmentexcess food, mostly highly processed. And personally, I don't think there shouldbe alot of choices up through maybe 8th grade. Give them lunch. Period. Ifits at all palatable, they will eat it!
This little piggie went to school and ate allllllllll the lunches.....because the lunches made the kids sick. Maybe the Wookie ought to try writing a children's book on her lunch failure...or "Failure to Lunch".....wasn't that a movie... :)
michelle and pigs, isn't that an oxymoron?
No, just a moron.
but a very LARGE moron.
Well, it was predictable but the liberal dummies just had to force their great ideas on innocent people and as usual the tax payers take the beating.
Fear not, they are 'smarter than everyone else' and they will try again.
sorry, but I can't abide the waste of human food, so long as it's palatable. even then i think it's terrible that food is wasted on animals. Especially when there are children starving (underline starving 2x) in America.
Had I ever done such a thing growing up, you can bet your bottom dollar my shiny hiney woulda been well and truly spanked! And justifiably so.
Don't be silly, think of how that'll drive down the price of pork chops!
And BACON!!!!
Well, the pigs are used to feed people so it kind of works out OK. The big loss is the money school districts are spending on food kids won't eat that could be used for better education or at least buying food kids will eat.
