I'm not going let someone as spineless as Romney tell me jack shit. He had his chance to beat Quagmire, and rather then go for the throat, he wimped out.
Same thing for McSame, afraid of being called racist for telling the truth.
McSame didn't fight back because he has the same political philosophy as Quagmire.
Damn RINOs won't shut up and let true conservatives do what needs to be done. Romney pushed through the lighter version of barrycare and now is trying to give advice on how to defund it. He and Rove had their chance. They pissed it away by being weak and middle of the road politicians.
Guess what guys STFU.
Romney was all about Romney while he ran for POTUS and he's all about Romney now while he's making suggestions for the GOP. The GOP aided and abetted him into the nominee position over the objections of millions and millions of conservative voters and the Party shoved him down our throats and up our asses and the fawning, gizz drooling media was right there giving the GOP attack machine aid and comfort, while at the same time, destroying any hope for truly conservative candidates. He was the white elephant in the room that the media felt most comfortable destroying when all was said and done. And, just like McShame, Romney dropped the ball on every opportunity he was handed to make hay with Quagmire. It was decided in some smoke filled room, behind closed doors and we were never going to be invited. I am so filled with rage and hatred for these simian traitors and yet Christ tells me to pray for them...I need a very tall drink!
I have come up with a general rule.
If Romney, Mccain or King Barky the Incompetent are for something I'm against it and vice a versa. Don't have to know anything about what the subject is. I'll be right 99.8% of the time.
And the .2% will be Romney's ideas.
Say what you will, Romney ran an honest campaign with integrity. Unfortunately, that doesn't work any more. Politics is a dirty business and if you're afraid to air your opponents dirty laundry while he's calling you everything but a child of God, well, you're going to lose. If you sit quietly while your opponent spouts lie after lie about you, again, you are going to lose.
Saying that, I feel Romney worried more about being a good role model for his kids and having the respect of his family. Hard to a fault a man for that. But the president is a dirty job surrounded by corruption and deceit. Romney would have hated it, but we'd be in much better shape economy-wise today.
I would certainly agree that Romney would have been a better choice than the czar that is now in place, but….the only difference between the two is color, Romney is a believer in big government, he was the first to mandate health care, to mandate shots for young girls without understanding the effects of the shot. So to make him look like some knighted saint is wrong, he is first and foremost a politician, which means he lies, is corrupt and barters for power like the rest of the slime he swims with, he just appears cleaner.
Though I agree with Romney, I feel as if the Republican party has become so dismantled that they can't collectively do the right thing if they want to to.
I am so done with the GOP. I use to donate money quite often. Not a lot of money mind you but I was pretty frequent with my donations. I would also donate time to many campaigns. I no longer give anything directly to the GOP. I will donate directly to conservative candidates and do the same with my time. The GOP is dead in my eyes until they get back to the ideas the party was founded on. McCain and the rest of the RINO’s are doing a lot of damage to the GOP. When will they wake up?
Since I think it's the modern GOP's purpose in life to aid and abet the enemy, I'm not willing to consider the option of their waking up. I'm with poppa on this one.
