I hate to defend Hillary, but why would a public statement be classified? As I always say, bureaucracies are inherently insane.
"The Secretary said it so classify it."
"But it was a public statement at a press conference."
"DOESN'T MATTER! RULES ARE RULES! CLASSIFY IT!"
As her aid told her, he can't access it because it's on a classified network. If it's on a classified server it doesn't matter if it's a matter of public anything. You have to wait for that stuff to go through the proper channels to be properly vetted for use on unclassified systems. She doesn't get to decide if it's fit for release on unclassified systems because she doesn't want to log into her classified system.
It's just like it doesn't matter if the info has been leaked and is in the media. It is still classified.
Otherwise you leave yourself open to prosecution like Hillary is leaving herself. Even if it Unclassified//For Official Use Only, it's not a matter of public anything. My evals are U//FOUO but I can't put that stuff on my Facebook page or email it to my buddies over Gmail without permission.

At this point, what difference does it make? Still don't see her in handcuffs..till that happens we are all just being played for fools...
"I didn't KNOWINGLY send anything classified!" I guess this email exposes more BS spewing forth from cankles. Why isn't she in jail, right now? Why isn't she being led away in handcuffs and doing a VERY public perp walk?
