The airport was there long before Obama. Has 3 flights a day. They come in from DC and they go out to DC. Full time, full crew, air traffic controllers. Full time airport manager. First class tickets, half the price paid by government.
Says it is also for military flights, but nobody uses it except congressmen.
It doesn't matter if it was there before Obama. What matters is that it shouldn't be there.
I've been to Johnstown, there's no need for Murtha Airport, it's a total waste of money. But you can't keep a pork barrelling Congressman down...even though he's been dead two years. It's this kind of reckless, needless, stupid spending that is bankrupting our country. Obama and Congress are complicit in this crime against the nation.
BTW, Johnstown's population has declined from 63,000 in 1950 to 21,000 today.

I'd have to say this overkill is a very bad legacy as well as his waste of space of a life in "service to the people of the US".
There should be a Barack Obama National Rathole in honor of where he threw most of the money.

Another reason we are broke....Building monuments to themselves...Which airport/College/Highway/Federal building/Dam/Solar project/Library/Port/National park will carry Obutthead's name when he gets un-elected? Will they build a whorehouse/casino in Nevada to honor Harry Reid? Perhaps they could rename the IRS building in honor of Charlie Rangel. San Francisco could name their airport After Pelosi cause God Knows she likes to fly and do it first class at taxpayer expense. Maybe it's time for the Debbie Washerhands Much mental health facility/Drug rehab facility?
