  • Every time the terrorists behead an American we should do the same to one of the detainees at Club Gitmo. Perhaps it's time we speak and act in a language that these Islamo-Nazis understand.

  • I hope the idea that the "peaceful" and "moderate" Muslims are irrelevant takes hold. She is absolutely right and her comparisons to Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia, Maoist China, and Bushido Japan are exactly right.

    The math, according to her, works against Western civilization. 300,000,000 jihadis is the largest army of any type in history. Doesn't matter if they are organized, they appear ready to go.

    • Sadly, it's far more dangerous that they're not organized.

      The days of enemies in uniform are over. Those crisp, sinister Nazi uniforms with the skulls and lightning-bolts are a thing of the romantic past.

      Just like the British Redcoats marching in columns and getting shot by Colonial rebels hiding behind trees, we are a high-tech superpower who can't win a war against pirates in dirty nightshirts living in caves.

      We have stealth bombers made of polymers that are so sophisticated that the people who manufacture them die of diseases that are classified, for cryin' out loud! ...And our enemies have coffee cans full of gunpowder and nails.

      Our multi-billion-dollar annual black budget for space-age gear is turning into a joke. The USA against Al-Qaida should be Godzilla vs. Bambi. It should be over in a single afternoon.

      Instead it's like a rhinoceros trying to fight a virus.

      • I agree. Our military is largely designed to fight a conventional air-land battle. The military strategists call what we have today asymmetrical warfare. We need to get way more asymmetrical.

  • I believe Brigitte is an American citizen. Not sure if naturalized (very likely) or (one of) her parents are US citizens. However, not 100%. She loves the USA. She calls herself of Persian ancestry (not Muslim, not Iranian) and she truly hates Islam with all of her mind, body and soul. I love her.

    This Muslim woman has the privilege of living in the US (not sure if she is an American citizen naturalized or otherwise) and she has the nerve to act like the US is a problem. She is a liberal infiltrator. She infiltrates TEA Party gatherings. She was on Hannity several weeks if not months ago and I am not sure but perhaps on O'Reilly. I know I saw her on FOX News and she is as stupid and deranged as her stupid question here to Brigitte makes you believe she is.

    • Brigitte Gabriel is Lebanese, a Maronite Christian, who had a harrowing upbringing, on account of vicious muslim attacks, including regular sniping (I mean the literal kind, with rifles) and shelling, which were a constant part of her everyday existence. She describes her experiences in "Because They Hate". Since she is definitely Lebanese by birth and ancestry, she can't, unfortunately, be President. That is a particular shame, because she would make a better defender of Western principles than anybody you are likely to get to vote for in 2016.

  • Great answer and bet she goes back to American University and wonders why she asked such a question. When will the woman file a hate speech complaint because of the answer to her "loaded" question? When you ask loaded questions, you better brace yourself for the answer even if it is not what you think it should be.

  • No doubt that was the answer that should have been given to that woman.

    But just to address her exact question - "how do you fight an ideology with weapons"

    You don't.

    We can argue how to do that effectively. Maybe we should capture their leaders and forcibly convert them to Christianity (Ann Coulter's suggestion). Maybe we should start an even bigger welfare program than what was done in this country to handle the poverty that some tell us is the cause of terrorism. Maybe we should keep telling them that we really are nice people and it was all George Bush's fault and he is now gone so they can now be nice too. Maybe if we keep calling it the "religion of peace", they might start believing that.

    But all of that is irrelevant. When a man is pointing a gun at you, does it matter at that exact second if his mother was a crack whore, or his father beat him, or other kids picked on him in kindergarten? I mean does it matter to your life, and the continuation of it for the next minutes? No.

    First in the order of things is to stop the bastards from killing innocent people. Afterwards, we can figure out how to deal with the ideology issues.

    And the only was to stop the bastards right now is through the aggressive use of force. The force has to be as big as necessary to stop them. Whatever they do, we have to match it and exceed it. How do we know how much force is enough? When they stop, that was enough.

    Because if we don't, all else is pointless.
