He shouldn't have bothered to do anything because he is not staying in that house for long. I guess though that was the only true shovel ready job in his policies :-/

The nuclear reactor needed to be upgraded so that Obumbles can live underground completely protected from the chaos he will create when he declairs himself king of amerikka.
Also, The wookie he's married to needs more food than they could truck in, so they had to blow a hole the size of a tanker to be able to lower it down 1 ship at a time!
