N4T Investigators: Border Patrol stripping agents of their rifles

• Didn't everybody know? The Quagmire administration is replacing all the Border Patrol's rifles with baby bottles.

• This is BS. As much $$$ as we've given to the DHS via the IRS and they can't buy a shipment of Smith & Wessons , Colt, Sig Sauer, and hundreds of other fine AR-15's to replenish the boys on the border. It's just crap. Unless they're select fire you can buy a decent AR semi auto for around $500 at Walmart. Give me back my tax money--I'll buy a couple dozen or so and send them down to Tuscon.

• They said they were taken worn out guns out of service, so when their vehicles break down you gonna assign them a walking beat? The government has plenty of rifles, the IRS, USDA, Homeland insecurity, the National Weather Service and EPA swat teams could part with theirs and their billion rounds of ammo too.

• Why do we even have a Border Patrol??

  • To make sure I'm not trying to get away with anything as I cross the US/Canadian border.

• The agents at the border are all ready out gunned. Maybe they should be given sling shots, or perhaps spears to defend themselves with. Who gave the order?

  All guns should be banned in DC, including the government.
