NASA Will Pay You to Eat Astronaut Food for 4 Months. A nice enough idea. But who is going to commit to this when EBT cards let you do the same thing indefinitely.

Then if you are chosen, you have to live astronaut-style: in a small enclosure with strangers, with limited showers, writing daily reports.
But in addition to the free food, those chosen for the study will be given cooking classes and taught to work in space’s microgravity environment. They will also earn round-trip travel to Hawaii, lodgings…and $5,000.
OK, it's not for me. I don't like small enclosures and $312.50 a week won't pay my bills.
Moochelle probably won't fit through the porthole, and unless they have a way of adding more food to the mix, everyone else will starve with her in there.
On the plus side, at least we won't have to pay for her to go on vacation for the next 4 months, and her next trip to Hawaii will be on the government's tab..............Oh Wait! It already is!
I was ready to sign up until I found out I would have to live with a lot of other weirdos like myself. Don't think I could handle that!
Isn't it raaacist and xenophobic as hell to require people to speak English? I thought the gubmint always provided free (for 他说什么?press 753 now) translators anyway. This from the same regime that's suing Arizona?
Too bad it requires such intellectual discipline, it sounded like a way Lady Moosechelle could pick herself up a few bucks AND save a bundle on the White House grocery bill doing it.
I wondered if they still had a bunch of space food sticks and powdered tang stored somewhere...guess it is time to clean out the old locker since we ain't going into space and won't need the shit.
They shoulda called Clinton, he was always good at getting some Tang.
Cold. True, but cold.
"There are a few catches, of course. Among others, you have to have a bachelor’s degree in either math, engineering, biological or physical sciences, or computer science; you have to be a non-smoker; you have to speak English."
I understand the smoking and the English but what's with the degrees? Can't an English major say "this tastes like shit on a shingle" just as well as any of the others?
I know that part was weird. They may as well have said a degree in culinary arts or something to that effect, it would make more sense.
