While I applaud Gabbys recovery efforts after being shot no way should she have a warship named after her.
She is not a war hero, she was a junior Representative. She was endorsed in her run by Tom Daschel, Janet "The Little Napoliantano" and Bill Clintoon. The Sierra Club, and teachers unions loved her. She is a gun control advocate who would love to see Americans unarmed. She has never served in our armed forces. What makes anyone think she deserves to have a warship named after her?
Does this ship have any guns or missiles? Or, do they just talk nice to the bad guys until they go away?
The Navy plans on manning it with all the gays and cross dressers they can find.
