NBC’s Gregory: Idea that tax hikes hurt economy “one of the falsehoods that’s peddled in Washington”. Sure, everybody remembers JFK’s tax hikes to stimulate the economy, right? Some of the other falsehoods peddled in Washington: NBC is a news organization and David Gregory is better than an empty chair as host of “Meet the Press.”

  • David Gregory is better than an empty chair as host of “Meet the Press.”

Empty chair, empty suit, empty head, Meet David Gregory.

    • He's not, but he'll bring Paul Krugman in as an economic expert. That guy has no idea how an economy works. If he had to actually earn a living, on a performance based scale, by using his economic philosphy in the real world, he would would be at a homeless shelter.

  • We and by that I mean msmholes like Gregory tend to forget how the Clinton tax increase killed a lot of luxury boat makers. They just say Clinton raised taxes and we had record revenues. Yee haa!

  • We have reached Orwell's Newspeak. Sure it took 17 years longer than he predicted but compare that to any 'scientist' on AGW and he is friggin zeroing the bull.

  • Russert was liberal, but he wasn't an ideologue like Gregory. Russert kept his ideology to himself. Gregory's bias has made the show go downhill. In a bad economy, tax hikes are death.
