NC lawmakers have apparently accidentally legalized fracking. A veto of a bill by soon-to-be-both-gone-and-forgotten Gov Bev Perdue was overridden due to Rep. Becky Carney (D-Mecklenburg) pressing the wrong button. For once, a Democrat frack-up helps the economy.

Hitting a button is to easy, every politician should have to say yea or nay, if for nothing else so a competitor could replay that yea or nay vote over and over and over in political ads, especially if the vote is something highly controversial like say, I don't know, Obamacare?
It's funny, I go through the drive-through at KFC and not only does my order come up on the screen there, but the person taking my order reads it back to me because clearly they assume I'm an idiot. In politics, major decisions are clearly not taken as seriously.
It's also stupid, she should have been able to change it if it was clear she was mistaken and had a history supporting the exact opposite outcome. Do Republicans want to hear that? Probably not. Yet she was elected and the people of NC should get what they deserve.
The Clown Convention is only 2 months away now. I'm glad to see they are staying up late and practicing.
