Sounds like a perfect opportunity for the out of state crews to sit on their ass and drink beer... while watching those union boys work. Take the per diem, overtime and all the perks, just don't lift a finger to help. Fuck em and feed em fish heads.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face. These folks traveled a great distance, left their homes and wished to help out and got told not a union member go away.
So when the city finally gets power in the next several days, who gets the blame. The union people, the folks from Alabama? The spin cycle will be in full working mode then.

Pretty much! Only an immature, ingrate, spoiled-brat, arrogant teen would even think of doing something like slapping away a helping hand and then honking his own horn about how great he was. This is just one of the many, many, many examples I can use for never ever belonging to a union. I just can't see myself flushing good money down a rat-hole and have it end up in someone like Obie's hands!
