New York Democrats Want to Ban Police From Describing Suspects By Race, Sex, or Age

• Remembering some of the people I saw in NY it would be hard to tell their race or sex without a TSA style patdown anyway so why bother with a law?

• Probably someone already mentioned this, but I think that this is a Muslim organization behind this. Now that they have political clout thanks in great part to Obama, Muslims now feel they need to protect themselves from profiling. I could be wrong but that is just how I feel.

  • Muslim isn't a race. I suspect this is designed to counter the arguement a bout higher crime in black neighborhoods, etc

    • Please read the story about the Muslims terrorists on the side of the bus. It is possible it is what you say, but profiling and black crime and what not is nothing new and even though discussed it never changed nor went anywhere. Out of a sudden looking for Muslim terrorists which just happens that most of them have very obvious facial and skin color features is considered racist by many of these entities like CAIR and many members of the mainstream media.

• Even with race listed, the descritions here are: hispanic male, early to mid twenties wearig awhite t shirt and blue jeans. Tha really is maybe 25% of the population!

• Well, as it stands now, even my local paper will not call a suspect black. If it doesn't say the suspect is white or hispanic, that's the only way you know he's black. Otherwise it's just "the suspect is about 5'9", wearing a white shirt and blue pants." Which rules about about 80% of the population.

• You know, I KNOW the world's going mad, and I KNOW that the UK is well on the way to the stupidity trophy, but this one really takes the biscuit.

  Surely there's some human right or other whcih prevents such lunacy being inflicted on an aghast population?

• It's a race to see which state collapses in on itself first, New York or Kalifornia, right now it appears they are tied. I would love to be the cop on scene after one these libturds gets carjacked...Well sir what did it looks like, now remember you can not tell me his race, age or sex, so was it wearing clothes and what color, did it have a gun? Did it say anything...thank you sir, we will file a report and we might look for your car but we don't have much to go on....We'll get back to you in a couple years when we find your car.....
