New York seeks to decriminalise possession of small amounts of pot ‘to save thousands from unnecessary arrests’. Now we’re confused. Mayor ‘Nanny’ Bloomberg wants everyone to eat less because we’re all too fat. Now he wants to legalize pot, which gives everyone the munchies. Talk about an oxymoron, the Mayor appears to be one, emphasis on ‘moron.’

I was a "dope smoker" for 30 yrs and I wouldn't have voted for that half-wit even in my most twisted state of mind. We're not ALL dumb-ass hippie Progs.

Okay, so New Yorkers will be able to smoke dope but not drink a 32oz. Slurpee. Makes sense to mayor Mussolini, I guess, but a lot of dope smokers who get the stony thirsties are going to be upset when they have to buy two 16 oz. Slurpees---think of the inconvenience and the extra plastic cups.
Actually, as a grandfather who smoked dope throughout the 60s and 70s, I think small amounts of grass should be decriminalized. Just don't criminalize sodas, cigarettes and transfats.
Someone should begin to market 15.999909 oz cups in New York City.
Sorta like the way McDonalds got around the Happy Meal Ban in SF. They just charged 10 cents for the toy instead of including it with the meal.
Make a 15.999999 oz cup and call it the Big "F Bloomberg" Gulp.
